Our Story
HERArchive is a social enterprise with a mission to support storytelling which
informs, educates and empowers women and girls around the world.
Women are so often missing from archives and history. HERArchive aims to correct this by collecting, archiving and sharing stories that highlight the contributions and experiences of women from all walks of life. Our grant programme supports young women in the creation, curation and continuous collection of experiences and ideas to build the largest digital archive of content
by women, for women and about women.
Through innovative archiving and content creation, HERArchive strives to promote communication and discourse across a global community, with the aim of reaching a deeper understanding of women's ever evolving roles in shaping our society, while also inspiring future generations to continue the legacy of strength, resilience, and creativity.

HERA
Queen of the Gods and Protector of Women.
Hera is a 'badass'. A free-thinking and headstrong woman, eternally conflicted in her role as sister, mother and wife. A representation of all of us.

Throughout history, she has walked her own path but her story has been exclusively authored by men, often presenting her as jealous, irrational and unhinged. But we all know the story would be very different if it had been told by HER.

HERArchive tells our side of the story.

Our Vision
Our vision at HERArchive is to create a dynamic public platform, open to all. We aim to provide a safe space that hosts diverse content, ensuring that every woman has a voice.

HERArchive is a collaborative and ongoing project, fostering consistent and sustained engagement.

As a global educational resource, HERArchive will focus on discussion around subjects of importance to women. This will be driven by our Founding community who will shape a rich selection of programming.
HERArchive is dedicated to cultivating a vibrant and inclusive environment for meaningful dialogue and learning by supporting storytellers everywhere.
